Me Me Me

Bizoo is...

a FREE! music and arts street zine based in Toowoomba and distributed throughout Australia and New Zealand. The first issue of Bizoo was released in June/July 2001. The brainchild of one crazy young man (Dr Jerm) it evolves each year as an unstoppable legacy of an equally crazed cult youth following.

Contributors from all walks of life are collected together here in this understated menagerie of rants, interviews, reviews, profiles, stories and sometimes just plain untruthin’ on all things musical, filmic and arty. Bizoo aims to give more gig reviews, more CD & EP reviews and (yes) more giveaways than any other street zine in Queensland. Our contributions are uncensored and selected due to their indicative voice of Australian youth culture and the young at heart. If you want to lend your business ear to the screaming recesses of the fledgling mind, Bizoo is that megaphone!

More than just a publication…under the instructions of our innovative and good-looking editor and marketing managers, Bizoo is on the never-ending search for new editorial content across Australia and internationally, staging exciting events for the Bizoo team and all music and arts fans like the most excellent Bizoo Boat Cruises and Arts Office Exhibitions, and always changing our format to encourage more interesting random and independent publishing.

We have strong alliances from around Australia and pay special homage to our ever-supportive advertisers and distribution points.

Bizoo is not an entertainment guide.
Bizoo is…brave, subversive, supportive, critical and embracing. Come on - give us a hug (or we’ll spit in your eye).
